I have found a beautifully, well thought out anylsis of the movie Labyrinth, which you might enjoy. It explains both the movie’s and book’s sexual symolism, morals, postmodernisim, and everything else under the sun! It has brought everything to new light!

Don’t Fear the Reaper by…MOAR COWBELL. *actually Blue Oyster Cult*

Okay NOT a classic song for back then but it IS classic Marylin Manson, The Beautiful People. *which I occasionally listen to some of his songs, though.* I had to put it in…XD

Sweet Child O’ Mine by Gun’s n’ Roses…I think.

Rock you Like a Hurricane by Scorpians.

Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. CLASSIC.

Ashes to Ashes, classic David Bowie. 😀

A fun and Informative Review of ‘Labyrinth’.

Nostalgia Chick reviews the 80’s fantasy-muppet-fairy-Bowie’s-package movie Labyrinth.

*link above*

The website hosts lots of movie, video game and comic book reviews, lead by the main guy Nostalgia Critic. Part-time reviewer of the more femme-side of things is Nostalgia Chick, who has reviewed She-Ra and others.

Lately at the Redford Theatre where I do volunteer work at and have for 3 years  we have jumped the gun and will be showing Labyrinth June 12th and 13th. Yes. Bowie’s tight pants on screen. Wild hysteric fantasy on the big screen.

A classic movie no doubt, and we’re going ALL OUT with this one besides Caddyshack. This movie is certain to attract the people in their 30’s *since they were kids and teenagers in the 80’s and this movie is their nostalgic value* along with the younger generation that has them as their parents.

It will be SO FUN.

As for the review, what better timeing for her to do it! We had done a screening of it, making our younger board members quake with nostalgia and the older *including my parents who were born toooo early* have really mixed feelings and generally confused by it. This review will poke fun and give us laughs. I recommend it for anyone. XD It’s such a fun movie…Odd, 80’s, sexual innuendo, art direction by famous Brian Froud, completely made with puppets with the only CGI being the begginning credits, sexy Jareth, LARPING, babies, wooden actresses…
